Job Title: Junior Accountant

Location: Lagos

Job Summary

• Kuddy Cosmetics International is seeking a detail-oriented, organized and adaptable Junior Accountant to support the Company's finance and accounting operations.
• The successful candidate will assist with maintaining accurate financial records, transaction postings, reconciliations, financial documentation and routine accounting activities.
• The role requires a candidate who is willing to learn, adapt quickly and work effectively in a fast-paced retail and cosmetics business environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Record and post daily financial transactions accurately.
• Assist with bank, cash and account reconciliations.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentation.
• Assist in preparing periodic financial and management reports.
• Monitor expenses, receipts, invoices and payment documentation.
• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
• Assist with sales and revenue reconciliation across business locations.
• Review financial entries and identify discrepancies for prompt resolution.
• Support inventory and stock-related financial reconciliations.
• Maintain proper filing of financial documents, invoices, receipts and vouchers.
• Assist with audit preparation and provide required accounting documentation.

Qualifications and Experience

• B.Sc. or HND in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
• 2–3 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Good understanding of basic accounting principles and financial record keeping.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience using accounting or ERP software.
• Experience using Odoo will be an added advantage.

Candidate Preference:

• Candidates residing within or around Ojo, Festac, Iyana Iba, Mile 2 and neighbouring areas are preferred due to proximity to the work location.
