Job Title: HR / Administration Manager (Male)

Job Description
- This role is ideal for a seasoned HR professional who is passionate about building high-performing teams, strengthening organizational systems, and ensuring operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Work directly with the Managing Director on strategic human resource and administrative initiatives.
- Develop, implement, and continuously improve HR policies, systems, and processes that support business objectives.
- Lead the company’s performance management system, ensuring employees are accountable, productive, and aligned with organizational goals.
- Drive employee engagement initiatives and cultivate a high-performance, values-driven workplace culture.
- Oversee recruitment, onboarding, talent management, succession planning, and workforce planning.
- Ensure full compliance with labour laws, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Provide strategic HR advisory services to management on employee relations, disciplinary matters, organizational restructuring, and workforce development.
- Develop and monitor HR metrics and reports to support business decision-making.
- Manage employee welfare, compensation administration, leave management, and staff records.
- Supervise administrative functions to ensure efficient day-to-day operations.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement systems that enhance productivity and operational efficiency.
- Champion continuous improvement initiatives across the organization.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, or a related discipline.
- Professional HR certification such as CIPM, SHRM, HRCI, or CIPD will be an added advantage.
- Minimum of 5 years’ progressive HR experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
- Previous experience within the Oil & Gas industry is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Nigerian labour laws and HR best practices.
- Demonstrated experience in performance management, organizational development, employee relations, and policy implementation.
- Proven ability to develop systems and processes that improve organizational performance.
- Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking abilities.
- Experience or knowledge in Quality Control (QC) or Quality Management Systems will be an added advantage.
- Must be proactive, highly organized, confidential, and capable of working directly with executive leadership.
- Must be available for immediate resumption.
