Job Title: Senior Sales Manager

Job Summary
- The Senior Sales Manager will provide strategic leadership for the Company's sales and business development activities.
- The role requires a seasoned sales professional with strong experience in the animal feed, livestock, agriculture, or manufacturing sector, capable of developing sustainable sales strategies and building a high-performing sales organization.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy & Business Development:
- Develop and implement the Company's sales and marketing strategy to achieve revenue and market share objectives.
- Drive business growth by identifying new markets, distributors, wholesalers, and institutional customers.
- Expand the Company's customer base across poultry, fishery, livestock, commercial farms, and agro-dealers.
- Develop strategic partnerships with key industry stakeholders.
Revenue Generation:
- Lead the achievement of monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Develop initiatives to increase product penetration and market visibility.
- Identify opportunities for new product introduction and market expansion.
- Drive profitable sales growth across all product lines.
Sales Team Leadership:
- Recruit, mentor, supervise, and motivate the sales team.
- Set individual sales targets and monitor performance.
- Conduct regular field visits and coaching sessions.
- Develop incentive programmes to improve sales productivity.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, dealers, commercial farms, and institutional buyers.
- Ensure high customer satisfaction and retention.
- Resolve major customer complaints promptly and professionally.
Market Intelligence:
- Monitor competitors' pricing, product offerings, promotions, and market activities.
- Conduct market surveys and customer research.
- Recommend pricing and promotional strategies to Executive Management.
Sales Operations:
- Oversee sales forecasting and demand planning.
- Monitor inventory availability to support sales.
- Work closely with Production, Procurement, Finance, Warehouse, and Logistics teams to ensure seamless order fulfilment.
Reporting:
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance reports.
- Present sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and market intelligence to Executive Management.
- Monitor sales budgets and recommend cost optimization initiatives.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
The successful candidate will be evaluated based on:
- Achievement of monthly and annual sales targets.
- Revenue growth.
- Gross profit contribution.
- Market share expansion.
- Number of new customers acquired.
- Customer retention rate.
- Distributor development and performance.
- Sales team productivity.
- Timeliness and accuracy of sales reports.
- Customer satisfaction index.
Requirements
- Interested candidates should possess an HND / Bachelor`s Degree
- Minimum of 8 years' progressive sales experience, with at least 3 years in a senior management role.
- Proven experience in animal feed manufacturing, livestock production, agriculture, or related industries.
- Demonstrated success in leading high-performing sales teams and delivering revenue growth.
