Overview

• The Primary School Teacher supports pupils in building strong foundations in literacy, numeracy, and essential life skills, while nurturing confidence, curiosity, and good character in a safe and engaging classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, deliver, and assess clear, engaging lessons that meet the school curriculum and learning objectives.
• Create a warm, structured classroom that promotes respect, responsibility, and active participation.
• Use a variety of teaching methods, activities, and resources to support different learning styles and abilities.
• Monitor and record pupils’ progress and provide timely, constructive feedback to pupils and parents.
• Maintain open communication with parents and colleagues to support each child’s academic and personal growth.
• Uphold all school policies, including behaviour, safeguarding, and assessment guidelines.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Education or a related field.
• Teaching qualification and relevant classroom experience at the primary level.
• Strong command of English, both spoken and written.

• Patient, organised, and attentive to detail.
• Able to work collaboratively as part of a team and take initiative when needed.
