Job Summary:
- The Content Creator/Social Media Manager develops engaging content and manages social media platforms to strengthen brand presence, grow audience engagement, and support marketing goals.
- The role includes content planning, publishing, community management, and tracking performance to optimize results.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and curate high-quality content (posts, tweets, stories, etc.) that aligns with our brand voice and resonates with our audience.
- Respond to comments, messages, and reviews in a timely and professional manner, fostering a positive and inclusive community.
- Manage and schedule content across multiple social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.).
- Monitor performance metrics (engagement rates, follower growth, etc.) and provide regular reports to stakeholders.
- Ensure consistency in brand messaging and visual identity across all social media platforms.
- Handle social media crises and negative feedback in a professional and timely manner.
- Work with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Communications, Customer Service) to align social media strategies.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, platform updates, and best practices.
- Plan and manage a content calendar to ensure consistent posting and minimize downtime.
- Manage social media advertising budgets and campaigns to achieve desired results.
- Set and implement social media and communication campaigns to align with marketing strategies.
- Organize and participate in events to build community and boost brand awareness.
- Build relationships with customers, potential customers, industry professionals and journalists.
- Stay up-to-date with digital technology trends.
- Research industry-related topics.
- Prepare well-structured drafts using digital publishing platforms.
- Create and distribute marketing copy to advertise our company and products.
- Interview industry professionals and incorporate their views in blog posts.
- Edit and proofread written pieces before publication.
- Conduct keyword research and use SEO guidelines to optimize content).
- Identify customers’ needs and recommend new topics.
- Coordinate with marketing and design teams to illustrate articles.
- Measure web traffic to content (e.g. conversion and bounce rates).
- Update our websites as needed.
Job Requirements
- B.Sc / HND in any field of study with a minimum of Second Class Lower Credit or its equivalent for HND holders.
- Proven 1-3 years work experience as a content creator/social media manager.
- Social media platform expertise(algorithms,user demographics knowledge)
- Adaptability to trends and a proactive mindset.
- Excellent Interpersonal and Organizationalskills.
- Creative and Fast thinking .
- Possession of any content creation/social media cerification is an added advantage.
Salary
N200,000 per month (Slightly Negotiable) & Added benefits.
