Job Title: Pharmacologist

Location: Victoria Island, Lagos

About the Role

• We are seeking a detail-driven Pharmacologist to join our healthcare/pharma team in Victoria Island.
• You’ll lead drug research, safety evaluation, and provide scientific support for product development, regulatory submissions, and clinical use.
• The ideal candidate bridges lab science with real-world application and can communicate complex data clearly.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and conduct pre-clinical and clinical studies on drug efficacy, toxicity, and mechanisms of action
• Monitor adverse drug reactions, prepare pharmacovigilance reports, and ensure compliance with NAFDAC/WHO/PCN guidelines
• Provide scientific data for new drug launches, dosage recommendations, and interactions
• Prepare documentation for product registration, renewals, and audits. Liaise with NAFDAC and PCN as needed
• Educate medical reps, pharmacists, and clinicians on pharmacology, drug profiles, and rational drug use
• Interpret lab results, clinical trial data, and literature to guide product decisions
• Support SOP development for drug storage, handling, and dispensing protocols.

Requirements

• Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor`s Degree
• 2-4 years in pharma, research, hospital, or CRO setting
• Fresh PhD holders with research experience may apply
• Strong knowledge of pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics, drug metabolism, and GCP/GMP
• Proficient in data analysis tools, literature databases, and MS Office. Experience with regulatory submissions is a plus
• Analytical thinking, scientific writing, presentation, and cross-functional collaboration.

Salary
Salary: N150,000 - N250,000 monthly (Attractive).
