Job Title: Global Test Developer

Job Summary
- The Global Test Developer will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality assessments that meet internationally recognised psychometric standards.
- The successful candidate will leverage research, statistical analysis, historical assessment data, and responsible AI tools to create assessments that are scientifically sound, commercially valuable, and scalable.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, validate, and maintain psychometric assessments aligned with international best practices.
- Create new assessment content and enhance existing test batteries across multiple competency areas.
- Analyse candidate response data using psychometric methods to evaluate item quality, reliability, validity, and fairness.
- Utilise AI tools to accelerate assessment development while ensuring rigorous human review and psychometric validation.
- Manage and continuously improve the organisation's assessment item bank through documentation, version control, and quality assurance processes.
- Conduct research into emerging trends in assessment science, psychometrics, and AI to support product innovation.
- Collaborate with Product, Technology, Operations, Sales, and external subject matter experts in developing new assessment solutions.
- Monitor assessment performance and recommend data-driven improvements.
- Prepare technical reports and present research findings to internal stakeholders and clients.
- Ensure compliance with quality assurance, ethical, and data protection standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Statistics, Data Science, Actuarial Science, or a related discipline (minimum Second Class Upper).
- 4–7 years of experience in psychometric test development, assessment design, applied research, or a related field.
- Strong analytical, statistical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and/or SPSS.
Desirable Skills
Experience in one or more of the following areas will be an advantage:
- Classical Test Theory (CTT)
- Item Response Theory (IRT)
- Python, R, or SQL
- Computer-Based Testing (CBT)
- Online Proctoring Technologies
- Computerized Adaptive Testing (CAT)
- Practical use of Generative AI tools for research or assessment development.
