Job Title: Finance Manager

Description

• Our client is seeking a strategic, detail-oriented Finance Manager to join its leadership team and play a key role in driving its financial success.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring sound financial management, regulatory compliance, accurate financial reporting, and strategic financial planning while supporting the overall business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in line with IFRS and applicable regulatory requirements, including FIRS, CBN, SEC, and other relevant authorities where applicable.
• Lead the annual budgeting process, monitor budget performance, conduct variance analysis, and recommend corrective actions to improve efficiency and profitability.
• Manage cash flow, working capital, banking relationships, payment schedules, and liquidity planning to ensure smooth business operations.
• Develop and maintain strong financial controls, identify financial risks, support audit processes, and implement measures to safeguard company assets and prevent financial leakages.
• Ensure timely filing and remittance of statutory deductions, taxes, audit requirements, and other financial obligations in accordance with Nigerian laws and company policies.
• Provide financial insights, investment analysis, management reports, and recommendations to guide business planning, expansion decisions, and performance improvement.
• Supervise, coach, and develop finance team members while promoting accountability, confidentiality, professionalism, and a high-performance culture.

Person Specification

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Professional certification (e.g., ACA, ACCA).
• 5 –10 years of experience in Finance, internal control, audit, or compliance.
• Experience inBanking or Financeis a plus.
• Strong knowledge of financial management, risk assessment, and investment strategies.
• Expertise in financial regulations, compliance, and corporate governance.
• Analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in financial software and tools.
• MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification is an added advantage.

Annual Net Remuneration
N8,000,000 annually.
