Financial Accountant at BT Health and Diagnostics Centre

BTHDC is an ultra-modern Diagnostic Center facility which provides Radiology and laboratory services at Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH), Ikeja Lagos.

BTHDC is a Public Private Partnership (PPP) between PPC Limited and Lagos State Government. PPC Limited is affiliated to Philips Medical System (PMS), a global leader in providing clinical management and diagnostic technology, and have been successful in transferring latest technology to the healthcare industry in Nigeria.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Financial Accountant

Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Maintain accurate financial records and the general ledger.
• Reconcile bank accounts and balance sheet accounts.
• Monitor accounts receivable and payable.
• Process payments and ensure proper documentation.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Monitor daily revenue and reconcile operational income.
• Ensure timely statutory remittances and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Assist with internal and external audits.
• Maintain fixed asset and inventory records.
• Implement and monitor internal financial controls.
• Provide financial analysis and reports to support management decisions.

Job Specifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• ACA, ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification (or in progress) is an added advantage.
• 4-7 yearsof accounting experience, preferably in healthcare or a diagnostic centre.
