The company was established to be an international player with regional strength as a provider of underwater and topside IRM (Inspection, Repair, and Maintenance) of FPSOs, Rigs, SPMs, and offshore and onshore terminals /platforms, primarily in Nigeria.
We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Senior Subsea Engineer
Location: Onshore, Nigeria
Employment Type: Full-time
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Supervise the correct assembly, operation, maintenance, testing and disconnection of the subsea blowout preventer, marine riser and related equipment
- Maintain and repair heave compensating equipment
- Maintain subsea running and retrieving tools and supervise the running and retrieving of all subsea equipment
- Ensure all maintenance is planned and executed per the maintenance system
- Review Presight and Maximo data daily and promptly address overdue or failed target items that fall within your department
- Create job packs for all major tasks in advance, identifying any safety issues that may be present for personnel carrying out the task
Required skills and experience
- Industry recognized engineering qualifications
- 20 years relative experience
- Previous experience as Subsea Engineer / Subsea Engineer 2
- Previous experience with similar subsea systems
- Previous experience with Cameron MK III control system
- Completed Cameron MK III training course
- Harsh Environment LMRP
- MPD Equipment, Principles & Procedures.
