Job Summary

• A Room Attendant is responsible for ensuring that guest rooms and public areas are clean, comfortable, and well-maintained to provide excellent customer service.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Clean and prepare guest rooms according to hotel standards.
• Change bed linens and make beds.
• Clean bathrooms, including sinks, toilets, showers, and mirrors.
• Dust and polish furniture and fixtures.
• Vacuum carpets and mop floors.
• Replenish guest supplies such as toiletries, towels, and drinking water.
• Empty trash bins and dispose of waste properly.
• Report maintenance issues or damaged items to the supervisor.
• Ensure rooms are secure after cleaning.
• Respond politely to guest requests and provide excellent customer service.
• Follow health, safety, and hygiene standards.
• Maintain housekeeping equipment and cleaning supplies.

Qualifications

• High school certificate or equivalent (preferred).
• Previous housekeeping experience is an advantage.
• Good physical fitness and ability to work long hours standing or walking.
• Attention to detail and cleanliness.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Honest, reliable, and able to work with minimal supervision.
