We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Finance Manager

Location: Lagos

Description

  • We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Finance Manager to lead the financial operations of the hotel and support strategic decision-making that drives business performance and profitability.
  • Reporting to the General Manager, the Finance Manager will oversee financial reporting, budgeting, compliance, and internal controls while ensuring alignment with the financial standards of Accor.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the overall financial operations of the hotel including accounting, reporting, and financial controls
  • Prepare and analyze monthly financial reports, forecasts, and annual budgets
  • Ensure compliance with Accor financial policies, internal audit standards, and statutory regulations
  • Monitor cash flow, cost control, and revenue performance to support operational profitability
  • Supervise and develop the finance team while ensuring adherence to financial procedures
  • Coordinate internal and external audits and ensure timely resolution of audit findings
  • Provide financial insights and strategic recommendations to support management decision-making
  • Ensure timely tax filings, statutory payments, and regulatory compliance

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • ICAN, ACCA, or an internationally recognized equivalent professional certification
  • 5–10 years of relevant work experience, preferably in hospitality, service, or corporate environments
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, cost control, and internal audit processes
  • Proficiency in accounting systems and financial management tools
  • Strong analytical, leadership, and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • High level of integrity and attention to detail
