The company was established to be an international player with regional strength as a provider of underwater and topside IRM (Inspection, Repair, and Maintenance) of FPSOs, Rigs, SPMs, and offshore and onshore terminals /platforms, primarily in Nigeria.
We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Motorman
Location: Offshore, Nigeria
Employment Type: Full-time
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Must be fully committed to working safely and to accepting responsibility for the safety of fellow crew members.
- Assist Supervisor in identifying jobs which may require a Risk Assessment
- Participate along with Supervisor in Risk Assessments.
- Shall undertake duties as allocated or directed by Chief Engineer/Senior Mechanic..
- Undertake operational maintenance, planned maintenance and repairs to mechanical equipment within the Machinery Spaces as directed by Chief Engineer/Senior Mechanic.
- Must be familiar with machinery and systems, so that in an Emergency situation, essential services can be safely restored.
Required skills and Experience
- 4th Class Motor Certificate of Competency.
- Suitable experience with Watch keeping duties.
- Minimum 2 years related experience.
- Experience in Motorman position on Merchant or Offshore Vessel.
