The company was established to be an international player with regional strength as a provider of underwater and topside IRM (Inspection, Repair, and Maintenance) of FPSOs, Rigs, SPMs, and offshore and onshore terminals /platforms, primarily in Nigeria.
We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Ship's Doctor
Location: Offshore, Nigeria
Employment Type: Full-time
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Act as Ships Doctor in compliance of Maritime Labour Convention 2006.
- Auditing Ships sick bays on all units assigned to.
- Provide medical guidance to Ships Master.
- Maintain a Register of Dangerous Drugs.
- Maintain medical stocks and records as required.
- Conduct training exercises onboard with First Aiders and members of medical emergency team.
- Maintain a Confidential Medical Log.
- Maintain and submit Injury Reports.
Required skills and Experience
- Qualified Medical Practitioner from school listed in the World Directory of Medical Schools.
- Participate in a revalidation programme that ensures maintenance of their medical skills.
- Previous experience in handling medical emergencies.
- Minimum 5 years offshore experience.
- Offshore Medic Certificate.
- Medic's License to Practice.
