We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Truck Driver

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Responsible for safely operating commercial motor vehicles to transport goods over short or long distances.
• Their core duties include planning efficient routes, completing daily vehicle inspections, securing cargo, maintaining accurate delivery logs, and complying with all local and federal traffic regulations.
• Cargo Transport: Drive heavy or long-haul trucks to deliver products securely and on schedule.
• Safety Inspections: Conduct thorough pre-trip, mid-trip, and post-trip inspections to check brakes, tires, lights, and fluids.
• Route Planning: Navigate routes using GPS and real-time traffic data to avoid delays and maximize efficiency.
• Logkeeping: Maintain detailed logs of driving hours, rest periods, and mileage (often using Electronic Logging Devices) to comply with transport regulations.
• Loading/Unloading: Assist with or supervise the loading, unloading, and securing of cargo to prevent damage during transit.
• Customer Service: Interact with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and clients, confirming deliveries and obtaining required signatures.

Salary
N180,000 - N200,000 per month.
