Job Title: Logistics Officer (Truck Operations)

Location: Asaba, Delta
Employment Type: Full-time

Summary

• Are you experienced in coordinating trucks, drivers, and deliveries? We are looking for a proactive and organized Logistics Officer to join our team.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate the movement of company trucks and other vehicles.
• Plan and monitor daily dispatch and delivery schedules.
• Ensure timely loading, transportation, and delivery of goods.
• Supervise and communicate effectively with truck drivers.
• Monitor vehicle utilization, fuel consumption, and mileage.
• Schedule routine maintenance and ensure vehicles remain roadworthy.
• Maintain accurate records of trips, vehicle documents, repairs, and logistics activities.
• Ensure compliance with traffic regulations and company policies.
• Resolve logistics challenges and provide timely updates to management.

Requirements

• HND / B.Sc. in Logistics, Transport Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in logistics, fleet, or transport management.
• Experience managing trucks and commercial vehicles is highly preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to work under pressure and solve problems effectively.
• Knowledge of road networks and transport operations within Nigeria is an added advantage.
• Must be resident in Asaba, Delta State.
