Job Description

  • We are looking for a Sr. Mechanical Design Engineer to join the team. The deal candidate will be responsible for engineering, design, specification, technical evaluation, installation support, and lifecycle management of rotating equipment, while ensuring compliance with Engineering Standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and specify pumps, compressors, turbines, motors, gearboxes, blowers and fans.
  • Prepare datasheets, specifications, material requisitions and technical bid evaluations.
  • Review vendor drawings and calculations.
  • Support FEED, detailed engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning and start-up.
  • Ensure compliance with Engineering Standards, such as API, ASME, ISO, ANSI and NACE.
  • Conduct technical reviews, FATs, RCFA and reliability improvement initiatives.
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, contractors, OEMs etc.
  • Mentor junior engineers and ensure HSE compliance

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Minimum of 15 years of Mechanical Design Engineering experience in Oil & Gas.
  • Minimum 10 years of rotating equipment design experience.
  • Experience in FEED, Detailed Engineering, EPC, and Greenfield/Brownfield projects.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical design and oil & gas industry standards.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, Plant 3D, AVEVA E3D, Smart 3D, Navisworks, and Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and coordination skills.
