Metro Mart is a 24 hour neighbor supermarket,restaurant and bakery in the heart of Idimu providing service to customers within. An indigenous company which open in 2026.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Store Manager

Location: Idimu, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilties

• Manage the daily operations of the supermarket, restaurant, and bakery.
• Supervise and coordinate staff across all shifts to ensure smooth 24-hour operations.
• Drive sales performance and achieve revenue and profitability targets.
• Monitor inventory, stock levels, and minimize wastage and shrinkage.
• Ensure excellent customer service and resolve customer complaints promptly.
• Oversee cash handling, daily sales reconciliation, and banking procedures.
• Maintain food safety, hygiene, and health & safety standards.
• Conduct staff scheduling, performance management, coaching, and training.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and operational procedures.
• Prepare and submit operational, sales, and inventory reports.
• Monitor merchandising, product availability, and store presentation.
• Collaborate with other departments to improve operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or HND in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in supermarket, retail, restaurant, or hospitality management.
• Proven experience managing large teams and multiple departments.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent knowledge of inventory management and retail operations.
• Experience with POS and retail management systems.
• Strong analytical and financial management skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, public holidays, and rotational shifts.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience managing a 24-hour retail operation.
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
• Strong decision-making and organizational skills.
• Customer-focused with a results-driven mindset.

Salary
N170,000 - N230,000 monthly.
