Job Title: Business Development Executive (Female)

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Description

  • We are seeking a results-driven and highly strategic Female Business Development Executive to drive business growth and market expansion within the Oil and Gas upstream and downstream sectors.
  • The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record of identifying new business opportunities, managing client relationships, and successfully navigating the complex tendering processes required by International Oil Companies (IOCs) and Energy Exploration companies.
  • Strong experience in negotiating, closing high-value deals, and managing the end-to-end NIPEX registration and bidding lifecycle is strictly required.

Key Experience and Responsibilities

  • Client Acquisition & Deal Closure: Proactively identify, target, and secure new business opportunities with IOCs, marginal field operators, and major contractors. Demonstrate a proven ability to lead negotiations and close commercial deals.
  • Tender Management (NIPEX & NCDMB): End-to-end management of the bidding process, including monitoring, preparing, and submitting technical and commercial tenders on the NIPEX portal. Ensure strict compliance with NCDMB (Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board) regulations and guidelines.
  • Proposal Writing & Documentation: Research, write, and assemble compelling commercial proposals, Expressions of Interest (EOIs), and pre-qualification documents tailored to specific IOC/EPC tender requirements.
  • Contract Management: Oversee the administration of contracts, Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and post-award variations. Ensure all contractual terms align with business risk margins and statutory oil and gas regulations.
  • Relationship & Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong, high-level networks with key decision-makers, contract committees, and procurement departments within the energy sector.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Gender: Female (for diversity and strategic corporate representation goals).
  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related discipline within the oil and gas sector.
  • Proven Experience: 4 - 7 years of progressive business development and sales experience strictly within the Oil & Gas industry.
  • Technical Bid Knowledge: Deep familiarity with Nigerian upstream contracting regulations, the NIPEX joint qualification system (NJQS), and EPC tendering cycles.
  • Key Competencies: Exceptional proposal writing skills, sharp commercial negotiation acumen, and a high rate of deal-closure success.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent presentation skills, executive presence, resilience, and the capacity to manage tight statutory submission deadlines under minimal supervision.

Salary
N400,000 - N500,000 per month.
