University of Abuja, hereby invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for admission into the one (1) year Remedial Science Programme for the 2016/2017 Academic Session.
2016/2017 University of Abuja, Admission into the One (1) Year Remedial Science Programme
Duration of the Programme
- Students admitted into the Remedial Science Programme will undergo intensive studies for one academic session (2016/2017), Students will in addition be required to pass the UTME and have the entry requirement for enrolment into any science-based programme in the Faculty of Science and other related faculties.
Admission Requirements
- To quality for admission into the Remedial Science Programme, a candidate must have attempted Physics, Chemistry, Biology Agricultural Science and Mathematics at NECO/SSCE or GCE level and have at least three (3) credits, two (2) of which must be from the stated science subjects.
- Admission is not automatic but subject to availability of a quota.
Purchase of Application Forms
Application forms are now available and can be purchased, at any of the following banks:
- Unity Bank Plc, Gwagwalada,
- Umted Bank for Afnca (UBA) Gwagwalada and
- Stanbic IBTC Gwagwalada at a non-refundable fee of N10O,000:00 (Ten thousand naira) only.
Application Closing Date
12th September, 2016.
Return of Completed Application Forms
A duly completed application form must be accompanied with photocopies of all academic credentials and relevant documents. These credentials will eventually be used to determine the suitability or otherwise of the candidates during placement.

- One (1) self-addressed and stamped acknowledgment card,
