The Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) is a multilateral development bank (MDB) which funds its projects and other developmental activities using Islamic finance. Hence, the name “Islamic”. Founded in 1975, the IsDB is headquartered in Jeddah, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The purpose of the Bank is to foster economic development and social progress of its member countries.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Purpose

• The Intern will be given the opportunity to gain practical experience by supporting project coordination, research, reporting, and project management activities under the guidance of the team.
• This role offers valuable exposure to development operations in a professional environment. 

 Core Tasks and Responsibilities

• Supported the operations team leader (OTL), project management specialist (PMS), and head of administration in managing infrastructure projects.
• Assist in report writing, ensuring clarity and accuracy in documentation.
• Provide technical input on contract management and project evaluation.
• Conduct research and gather data to assist in project assessments.
• Participate in meetings and contribute to discussions on project progress and challenges.
• Help in the development of project management tools and templates.
• Any other role as assigned

• Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or related disciplines)
• Project Management
• Information Technology (IT)
• Business Administration and Management
• Other related fields

Qualifications

• Graduated with a Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree within the past 12 months. 

Skills:

• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and teamwork
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Organizational and project coordination skills

Language requirement:

• English Language Compulsary.
• French Optional
