Job Title: Mobile Phone Technician

Location: Berger, Lagos

Job Summary

• We are seeking skilled, detail-oriented, and customer-focused Mobile Phone Technicians to join its technical operations team.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing, and testing mobile devices while ensuring repairs are completed to the highest quality standards.
• The ideal candidate should possess strong technical expertise in smartphone repairs, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose faults and perform repairs on smartphones and smartphone panels.
• Replace faulty components, including screens, batteries, charging ports, cameras, speakers, and other hardware parts.
• Troubleshoot software-related issues, including operating system updates, flashing, and device configuration.
• Conduct quality checks and functional testing before returning repaired devices to customers.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs, spare parts used, and completed service jobs.
• Ensure proper handling and safe storage of customer devices during the repair process.
• Follow manufacturer and company repair procedures and quality standards.
• Keep the repair workstation clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
• Communicate repair findings, timelines, and recommendations clearly to customers or service advisors.
• Escalate complex technical issues to senior technicians or supervisors when necessary.
• Monitor inventory levels of spare parts and tools and report replenishment needs promptly.
• Stay up to date with new smartphone technologies, repair techniques, and industry best practices.

Requirements

• Minimum of SSCE / WAEC / NECO qualification.
• OND, HND, or Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field is an added advantage.
• Proven experience as a mobile phone technician or in a similar device repair role.
• Strong knowledge of smartphone hardware and software troubleshooting.
• Experience repairing Android devices; knowledge of iOS devices is an added advantage.
• Ability to use repair tools, testing equipment, and diagnostic software.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Professional certifications in mobile device repair are an added advantage.
