Location: Delta, but will be required to travel to different project sites

Job Summary
- We are seeking a skilled and innovative Irrigation Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and management of irrigation and water infrastructure projects for agricultural development initiatives nationwide.
Responsibilities
- Lead in design conceptualization, designing, hydraulic planning, and interpretation of irrigation engineering drawings and technical specifications
- Lead the planning, execution, and management of irrigation and water infrastructure projects
- Monitor irrigation performance and recommend improvements
- Coordinate installation and maintenance of irrigation infrastructure
- Ensure efficient water management and sustainability practices
- Collaborate with project teams on agricultural infrastructure development.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Agricultural Engineering, Irrigation Engineering, Civil Engineering, Water Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in irrigation, hydraulic engineering, or agricultural water management projects
- Strong understanding of sprinkler, drip, center pivot, and surface irrigation systems
- Proficiency in irrigation and hydraulic engineering software such as EPANET, WaterCAD, HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, IrriCAD, and GIS
- Experience in hydraulic modelling, water resource planning, and irrigation network analysis
- Strong technical, analytical, and project management skills
- Professional certification or COREN registration is an added advantage.
