Job Summary

• VCGL is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Software Developer to join our technology team.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, deploying, and maintaining high-quality software applications that support the company's business operations and digital transformation initiatives.
• The successful candidate should be passionate about software development, possess excellent problem-solving skills, and be able to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance software applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Write clean, efficient, maintainable, and well-documented code following industry best practices.
• Develop and integrate APIs and third-party services.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects and production issues.
• Optimize application performance, security, and scalability.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of development standards.
• Maintain technical documentation for applications and system architecture.
• Work with DevOps teams to support software deployment and system monitoring.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend innovative solutions.
• Ensure compliance with company security policies and software development standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in one or more programming languages such as C#, Java, Python, JavaScript, PHP, or TypeScript.
• Experience with modern web frameworks such as .NET, Laravel, Node.js, React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Experience working with relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server.
• Knowledge of Git and version control best practices.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform is an advantage.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
• Strong understanding of software testing, debugging, and quality assurance principles.
