Gilead Initiative for Sustainable Development (GISD) is a non-profit organization dedicated to building resilient and thriving communities through sustainable development initiatives. We work across key thematic areas including nutrition, food security and livelihoods, climate adaptation and environmental sustainability, WASH (Water, Sanitation and Hygiene), gender equality, and community empowerment. By partnering with communities, governments, and development stakeholders, GISD delivers innovative, evidence-based solutions that improve lives, strengthen resilience, and promote inclusive, sustainable development.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Program Officer

Location: Makurdi, Benue
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Coordinate program activities in Nutrition, food security livelihood, Climate adoption and environmental sustainability, Wash.
• Engage with Government and Community partners.
• Monitor, evaluate and report on project progress.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Development Studies, Agriculture, Public Health or related field.
• 3-5 years of NGO program management activities.
• Good Communication Skills.
