Job Title: Senior Store Officer

Locations: Abuja (FCT), Ibadan - Oyo, Benin - Edo, and Ikeja - Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Join Our Team

  • We are seeking a highly organized, experienced, and result-driven Senior Store Officer to oversee inventory management and store operations.
  • The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a keen eye for detail, and a proven track record of maintaining inventory accuracy and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily store operations and ensure inventory accuracy is maintained above 97%.
  • Supervise and mentor store officers and support staff to ensure efficient store activities, stock counts, and reconciliations.
  • Monitor inventory movements, identify discrepancies, and implement corrective actions and process improvements.
  • Prepare and analyze inventory reports, providing recommendations to enhance stock management and operational efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), safety requirements, and audit standards.
  • Train, coach, and develop store personnel on best practices in inventory control and warehouse operations.
  • Optimize storage space utilization, manage store resources effectively, and minimize inventory losses, damages, and obsolete stock.

Requirements

  • HND or Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 4 years' experience in inventory management, warehousing, or logistics, preferably within the spare parts industry.
  • Proven experience in maintaining and improving inventory accuracy and control systems.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in inventory management software, particularly Microsoft Navision.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
