Job Title: Procurement Officer

Location: Lagos

Job Summary

• Are you a proactive procurement professional with experience in the Oil & Gas industry?
• We are looking for a results-driven Procurement Officer to join our team and support the sourcing and procurement of quality goods and services while ensuring value for money and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Source and procure materials, equipment, and services in line with company policies and project requirements.
• Obtain and evaluate quotations from vendors and negotiate competitive prices.
• Prepare Purchase Orders (POs) and monitor the procurement process from requisition to delivery.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and contractors.
• Ensure timely delivery of materials and resolve supply-related issues.
• Conduct market research to identify reliable suppliers and cost-saving opportunities.
• Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with company procurement procedures and industry standards.
• Liaise with internal departments to understand procurement requirements and project timelines.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years’ procurement experience, preferably in the Oil & Gas servicing industry.
• Good understanding of procurement processes, vendor management, and contract administration.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Experience using ERP or procurement software is an added advantage.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple procurement activities simultaneously.
