Job Title: Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality / Distribution Officer / Distribution Officer

Locations: Oshodi / Isolo - Lagos, Kaduna and Rivers
Employment Type: Full-time

Description

  • The Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality / Distribution Officer and Distribution Officer will support the implementation of quality assurance and safety,
  • health. environment and quality systems by ensuring regulatory compliance, maintaining product
  • and process quality, promoting safe operations, and driving continuous improvement across plant and distribution activities.

Key Areas of Responsibilities

  • Carry out quality control functions on the company’s raw materials, processes, and Finished products.
  • Ensuring that all raw materials, processes and final products meet the required specification.
  • Support the company to maintain the quality systems (FSSC 22000 and QMS 9001) and customer quality requirements.
  • Ensure that quality assurance functions (Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), Good
  • Distribution Practice (GDP), Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) & Quality Control) is maintained for all productions.
  • Ensure that water use on site meets required standard.
  • Ensure compliance with SHEQ standards and regulatory requirements through inspections, risk assessments, and incident management.
  • Monitor plant operations to drive operational efficiency and continuous SHEQ improvement.
  • Coordinate safety training, emergency preparedness, and corrective actions.
  • Support the SHEQ Department to achieve the company SHEQ targets and Objectives.

Qualifications and Experience

  • BSc / HND Degree in Industrial Chemistry, Science Lab Tech, Chemical Engineering and other Chemistry/Applied Science Courses.
  • Completed NYSC scheme.
  • Minimum of with 2 - 3 years relevant working experience.
  • The ideal candidate must be a Nigerian Citizen.
  • Age 27- 32 years.
  • High knowledge of computer literacy (Excel, PowerPoint, Words etc).
  • Good knowledge of management system and regulatory compliance (ISO 9001, FSSC 22000 and NEBOSH IGC trainings are required).
  • Must be willing to travel to other IMG sites on short notice.
  • Strong communication (oral and written), interpersonal, analytical, and problemsolving skills.
