We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: HR Officer

Location: Lekki, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the recruitment process, including posting job vacancies, screening applications, scheduling interviews, and communicating with candidates.
  • Coordinate onboarding activities for new employees, including documentation, orientation, and induction.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in both physical and digital formats.
  • Prepare employment letters, confirmation letters, probation letters, and other HR-related documentation.
  • Monitor employee attendance, leave records, and other HR databases.
  • Assist in payroll preparation by compiling attendance, leave, and other payroll-related information.
  • Support the administration of statutory benefits, including pension, PAYE, NHF, NSITF, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Assist in implementing performance management processes, including probation and annual appraisals.
  • Coordinate employee training, learning, and development activities.
  • Support employee engagement initiatives, staff welfare programs, and team-building activities.
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and procedures.
  • Assist in handling disciplinary processes and employee grievance matters in line with company policies.
  • Ensure HR documentation complies with company policies and Nigerian labour laws.
  • Maintain confidentiality of employee information and HR records.
  • Generate periodic HR reports, including recruitment, headcount, attendance, and turnover reports.
  • Support exit management activities, including resignation processing, exit interviews, and clearance procedures.
  • Coordinate confirmation and probation review processes.
  • Liaise with department heads to support workforce planning and staffing needs.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies and HR best practices.
  • Perform any other HR and administrative duties assigned by the HR Manager.
