Job Summary
- The Head of Teaching and Learning is a senior academic leader. The postholder for this dual-focus role will ensure rigorous quality assurance of classroom practices while designing and executing a world-class Continuous Professional Development (CPD) framework to elevate faculty performance and maximise student outcomes.
Minimum Eligibility Requirements
- A Master’s Degree in Education or a related field (Doctorate preferred).
- 5 years experience in educational leadership, including roles such as Head of Department, Deputy Head Academic, Principal, Vice Principal, or Director.
- 6–8 years of successful teaching experience in a reputable international school offering the Nigerian and Cambridge curriculum.
- Relevant certifications in instructional coaching, school leadership, administration etc., would be an added advantage.
- Knowledge of educational trends, best practices, and innovative teaching methods.
- Proven experience designing and implementing teacher appraisal systems, rubric-based lesson observations, and data-driven school improvement plans.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students, staff, parents, and the community.
