We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: HVAC Technician

Location: Kazaure, Jigawa

Mission

• Perform tasks related to the installation, preventive, and corrective maintenance of equipment, in accordance with management instructions and applicable standards, to ensure the efficient implementation of defined procedures, operational reporting of activities, and compliance with established quality, environmental, and safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Installation of equipment such as SPLITS & CHILLERS;
• Cleaning ducts, replacing filters, and checking refrigerants to prevent future failures;
• Diagnosing and resolving electrical and mechanical malfunctions or gas leaks;
• Identifying the cause of performance issues and proposing the fastest and most cost-effective solutions;
• Filling out work orders and drafting detailed reports on the work performed;
• Following strict guidelines for handling fluorinated gases and using personal protective equipment (PPE) to prevent occupational hazards.

Education

• Higher Education / Technical Professional Course in Mechanical or Electromechanical Engineering;
• Certification in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning.

Requirements:

• Proven professional experience in the field of HVAC and Refrigeration (preferred);
• Proven professional experience in building maintenance;
• Professional experience in the maintenance of HVAC systems, with a focus on SPLITS and CHILLERS;
• Experience and knowledge in conducting preventive inspections and identifying malfunctions or leaks in HVAC systems;
• Ability to operate hand tools and power tools specific to HVAC;
• Punctuality, availability, proactivity, responsibility, dynamism, thoroughness, and professionalism in performing duties and tasks;
• Interpersonal communication skills.
