About the Role

  • As the company continues to expand, we are seeking a commercially driven Business Development Executive to promote and sell the company's media, publishing, and consultancy solutions, drive revenue growth, and build lasting client relationships.

Job Summary

  • The Business Development Executive will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, generating revenue, and developing long-term relationships with clients across the healthcare and corporate sectors.
  • The successful candidate will actively promote and sell the company's media, publishing, and consultancy solutions while consistently achieving agreed sales and revenue targets.
  • This role is ideal for a proactive, target-driven professional who enjoys building relationships, identifying opportunities, and closing business deals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive sales and revenue growth.
  • Promote and sell the company's media, publishing, and consultancy solutions.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with corporate organisations, healthcare providers, HMOs, pharmaceutical companies, NGOs, government agencies, and other key stakeholders.
  • Generate qualified leads through networking, referrals, market research, and strategic business development activities.
  • Prepare proposals, quotations, presentations, and business pitches tailored to client needs.
  • Negotiate commercial terms and successfully close business opportunities.
  • Manage existing client accounts to encourage repeat business and long-term partnerships.
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure the successful delivery of client projects and services.
  • Maintain an active sales pipeline and provide regular reports on business development activities, sales performance, and revenue generation.
  • Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify new business opportunities.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, exhibitions, and networking engagements where required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or HND in Business Administration, Marketing, Mass Communication, Public Relations, or a related discipline.
  • 3 - 5 years' experience in Business Development, B2B Sales, Corporate Sales, or Account Management.
  • Experience in media, publishing, advertising, consultancy, or other service-based industries will be an advantage.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales and revenue targets.
  • Strong business development, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented.
  • Ability to identify opportunities and convert prospects into long-term clients.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
