Job Title: HSE Officer

Location: Ago Palace Way, Okota, Lagos

Job Summary

• Are you passionate about creating safe and healthy workplaces?
• We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Officer to join our team.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor HSE policies, procedures, and standards.
• Conduct routine workplace inspections and risk assessments.
• Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, and prepare reports.
• Organize HSE inductions, toolbox talks, and safety training.
• Ensure compliance with relevant HSE laws and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor the use of PPE and enforce safe work practices.
• Maintain HSE records, reports, and documentation.
• Develop and implement emergency response and evacuation plans.
• Promote a strong safety culture across the organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Environmental Science, Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an HSE role.
• Relevant HSE certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, ISPON, OSHA, IOSH) will be an added advantage.
• Strong knowledge of HSE regulations and best practices.
• Excellent communication, reporting, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Salary
N150,000 - N170,000 monthly.
