We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Sales Consultant

Location: Ikota, Lagos

Position Summary

  • The Sales Consultant finds clients, understands what they actually need, and guides them to a property that fits - then sees the whole thing through to a closed, satisfied deal.
  • This role blends prospecting, consultative selling, property sourcing, negotiation, and after-sales care.
  • You're a trusted advisor to your clients, not just someone showing them houses. Every interaction should reflect the standard Arab Space is known for.
  • Beyond your own numbers, you're expected to help grow the property portfolio, support the Freelance Realtor community, and bring back what you learn to the rest of the team.
  • Arab Space operates in a sales-driven environment, and that applies to you directly. You're expected to help the business succeed through excellent client experiences, real opportunities you spot along the way, and protecting the brand's name in the market.

Key Responsibilities
Sales & Revenue Generation:

  • Hit your agreed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Generate qualified leads through prospecting, referrals, networking, digital engagement, and cold calling.
  • Turn enquiries into actual transactions, not just conversations.
  • Match clients to properties based on their real budget and goals, not just what's easiest to show.
  • Negotiate in a way that protects both the client's interests and Arab Space's.

Business Development & Property Scouting

  • Look for new listing opportunities through your own network and market research.
  • Build relationships with developers, landlords, and property owners.
  • Scout premium residential, commercial, and investment properties worth bringing into the portfolio.
  • Report market intelligence back to the Sales Manager - what you're hearing on the ground matters.

Lead Generation & Prospecting:

  • Prospect consistently - referrals, networking, social media, cold calling, events, your own personal brand.
  • Build and maintain your own client database.
  • Follow up on every assigned lead promptly, and bring in self-sourced leads on top of what the company gives you.

Client Relationships & Property Inspections:

  • Understand what a client actually wants before recommending anything.
  • Stay in regular contact throughout the sales process - silence makes clients nervous.
  • Schedule and run property inspections that are genuinely engaging, not just a walk-through.
  • Present properties confidently: features, investment potential, location, value.
  • Record client feedback after every inspection, and escalate anything complex to the Sales Manager.

Sales Administration & Lead Records:

  • Keep accurate records of every prospect and client.
  • Update the company's Lead Register with every meaningful interaction.
  • Submit reports on time, and keep client and company information confidential.

Freelance Realtor Collaboration:

  • Build a genuinely good working relationship with Freelance Realtors.
  • Share practical knowledge with newly onboarded realtors where you're asked to.
  • Take part in realtor training and orientation sessions when they come up.

After-Sales & Client Retention:

  • Stay in touch after a deal closes - the relationship doesn't end at signing.
  • Follow up to confirm the client's actually satisfied, not just assume it.
  • Ask happy clients for referrals and testimonials - politely, and at the right moment.

Learning & Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Take part in internal training sessions and share what's working for you with colleagues.
  • Keep building your knowledge of the Lagos real estate market.
  • Work with Marketing so campaigns generate leads worth having, and feedback what clients are actually telling you.

Requirements
Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's Degree or HND in Business Administration, Marketing, Estate Management, Real Estate, or a related field.
  • Professional certifications in Sales or Real Estate are an advantage.

Experience:
Applicants should have:

  • 1–2 years' experience in commercial real estate, luxury property sales, or a related sales environment.
  • A track record of actually generating leads and closing deals, not just handling walk-ins.
  • Good knowledge of the Lagos luxury real estate market.
  • Experience running client meetings and property inspections.
  • Must currently reside on Lagos Island.
