We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Sales Manager

Position Summary
- The Sales Manager leads Arab Space's sales operations - driving revenue, growing the property portfolio, and making sure every client walks away with a genuinely good experience, not just a closed deal.
- This isn't a role you can do from behind a desk. You'll set the sales strategy, but you'll also be in the room for the big negotiations, coaching a Sales Consultant through a tricky client, or personally scouting a property that could be Arab Space's next great listing. You're expected to build a team that's good at selling and good to work with, and to keep the Freelance Realtor community growing alongside it.
- Above all, this role sets the tone. How you lead the sales team is how the sales team will treat every client that walks through the door.
- Arab Space operates in a sales-driven environment. As Sales Manager, you're expected to model that commitment for the whole team - through excellent client experiences, spotting opportunities as they come up, and protecting the brand's reputation in everything the department does.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Leadership & Revenue Growth:
- Set the strategy for hitting monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets, and lead the team in actually getting there.
- Keep an eye on performance across the team and step in early when something's off track, rather than waiting for the numbers to confirm it.
- Put together sales forecasts and pipeline reports on a regular cadence.
- Spot where the market's opening up and where Arab Space should be pushing next.
Business Development & Property Scouting:
- Scout premium residential, commercial, and investment properties worth adding to the portfolio.
- Build real relationships with developers, landlords, investors, and estate managers - the kind that outlast any single deal.
- Keep a pulse on the Lagos real estate market and flag opportunities to Management before they're obvious to everyone else.
- Negotiate listing opportunities and partnerships where they come up.
Pipeline & Lead Management:
- Own the sales pipeline end to end, from a lead coming in to a transaction closing.
- Allocate leads fairly across the Sales Consultants, per the Sales Policy's Lead Allocation Policy.
- Make sure every lead is properly logged in the company's Lead Register - an unlogged lead is one that's easy to lose track of.
- Watch conversion rates and adjust the approach when they slip.
Client Relationships & Property Inspections:
- Build and personally maintain relationships with Arab Space's highest-value clients.
- Step into complex negotiations to support a Sales Consultant when a deal needs a senior voice.
- Personally attend inspections for major or strategic clients.
- Make sure every property is presentation-ready before a client ever sees it.
- Coach the team on running inspections that are genuinely informative, not just a walkthrough.
Freelance Realtor Community:
- Recruit, onboard, and build a real network of active Freelance Realtors, per the Freelance Realtor Policy.
- Run orientation for newly registered realtors and mentor them on prospecting, negotiation, and closing.
- Review realtor performance regularly and keep the relationship between freelancers and internal staff collaborative, not competitive.
Coaching, Performance & Team Development:
- Set clear expectations for each Sales Consultant and check in on progress regularly, not just at appraisal time.
- Run coaching sessions that actually improve how someone sells, not just morale-boosting chats.
- Support the Performance Management Policy's appraisal process, including Performance Improvement Plans where they're genuinely needed.
- Recognise strong performance publicly - it costs nothing and it matters.
Reporting & Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Deliver weekly and monthly sales reports, revenue forecasts, and market intelligence to the Managing Director.
- Work closely with Marketing so campaigns generate leads worth having, and sales feedback actually shapes the next campaign.
- Coordinate with Marketing and the Videographer on property launches so nothing feels disjointed to the client.

Requirements
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Estate Management, Real Estate, or a related field.
- Relevant professional certifications are an advantage, though not required.
Experience:
Applicants should have:
- 3–5 years' experience in commercial real estate or luxury property sales.
- Experience managing a sales team, with a track record of actually hitting targets, not just setting them.
- Experience in business development and relationship management.
- A solid grasp of the Lagos luxury real estate market.
- Must currently reside on Lagos Island.
