Position Summary
- The Videographer is Arab Space's visual storyteller - planning, filming, and editing the video and photography that shows off our properties, our people, and the experience of working with us.
- This is more than operating a camera well. You're translating what Marketing and Sales are trying to achieve into visuals that actually move people - whether that's a property walkthrough that makes someone want to book an inspection, or a behind-the-scenes clip that makes the brand feel human.
- You'll work closely with the Marketing Manager and the Content Creator & Social Media Manager on ideas and execution, and you'll also help train colleagues on basic content recording, so good visual storytelling isn't something only you can produce.
- Arab Space operates in a sales-driven environment, and what you capture plays a real part in that. You're expected to help the business succeed - through excellent client and audience experiences, spotting opportunities where they arise, and protecting the brand's reputation in every frame you shoot.
Key Responsibilities
Video Production & Visual Storytelling
- Plan, shoot, edit, and deliver video content that actually supports Arab Space's marketing and business goals.
- Build visual stories around residential, commercial, and investment properties.
- Produce content featuring client experiences, company culture, and market insights.
- Make sure every production meets a professional standard before it goes anywhere near publication.
Property Videography & Photography:
- Shoot professional video and photo coverage of listed properties - walkthroughs, aerial footage where licensed, lifestyle shots, neighbourhood highlights.
- Produce property showcase videos suitable for digital marketing and client presentations.
- Capture strong interior and exterior photography for listings.
- Make sure a property is genuinely presentation-ready before filming starts.
- Keep an organised media library so nothing good gets lost in a folder somewhere.
Creative Collaboration & Content Planning:
- Work with the Content Creator & Social Media Manager on ideas for campaigns and everyday content.
- Bring your own creative suggestions to planning meetings - filming techniques, visual styles, storytelling angles.
- Support educational, promotional, and behind-the-scenes content.
Editing & Post-Production:
- Edit raw footage into polished videos, with transitions, graphics, subtitles, colour correction, and sound as needed.
- Optimise videos for each platform - Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, WhatsApp - rather than posting one cut everywhere.
- Keep a consistent editing style, and deliver on the timelines you've agreed to.
Campaign & Marketing Support
- Support the Marketing Manager during campaign planning and execution.
- Produce visuals for digital ads, property launches, exhibitions, and events.
- Capture company events and staff activities - the culture side of the brand matters too.
Equipment & Asset Management
- Keep company cameras, lenses, lighting, drones, and audio equipment in good working order.
- Report faults or maintenance needs promptly, before they become a problem mid-shoot.
- Manage digital storage and keep organised backups of every media file.
Employee Training & Knowledge Sharing:
- Train colleagues on basic smartphone videography for personal branding and company promotion, per the Learning, Training & Development Policy.
- Help Sales Consultants and Freelance Realtors put together content that looks professional, even on a phone.
- Share what's new in video production and digital storytelling as you pick it up.
Brand Representation & Cross-Department Collaboration:
- Keep every visual asset consistent with Arab Space's brand - colour grading, composition, quality.
- Work with Marketing, Sales, and HR so visual content actually supports what each team is trying to do.

Qualifications
- A Bachelor's Degree, HND, or equivalent in Film Production, Mass Communication, Media Studies, Cinematography, Photography, or a related field.
- Certifications in Videography, Photography, Video Editing, or Motion Graphics are an advantage.
Experience:
Applicants should have:
- 2–4 years' professional experience as a Videographer, ideally with a real estate or premium lifestyle brand.
- A strong portfolio showing property videography, photography, and editing work.
- Experience producing content for digital marketing and social platforms.
- Experience working alongside a marketing team to deliver content with a business purpose.
- Must currently reside on Lagos Island.
