Job Title: Business Development Officer

Job Summary

• We are seeking a smart, proactive, and results-driven Business Development Officer (BDO) to join our team.
• The successful candidate will work directly with the Managing Director to drive business growth, develop strategic client relationships, and identify new opportunities within the oil and gas industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the oil and gas sector.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
• Prepare business proposals, presentations, and tender support documentation.
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify growth opportunities.
• Support contract negotiations and follow up on business leads.
• Represent the company at client meetings, industry events, and networking engagements.
• Work closely with the Managing Director to develop and implement business growth strategies.
• Maintain accurate records of business development activities and client engagements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in business development within the oil and gas industry.
• Previous experience in an EPC company will be an added advantage.
• Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
• Strong proposal writing and business development capabilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Applicants must currently reside on Lagos Island.
