Voltaire Lifestyle Services Limited is the owner of GAIA AFRICA Club and Gaby Lagos, luxury brands, situated in Victoria Island in Lagos State. It is a hospitality Company with a luxury restaurant, a private business clubhouse, and event management.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: WTP/STP & Operations Admin

Location: Victoria Island, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Purpose

  • To support the efficient operation of the Water Treatment Plant (WTP), Sewage Treatment Plant (STP), and the Operations Department by ensuring compliance with operational standards, maintaining accurate documentation, coordinating maintenance activities, supporting facility operations, and providing administrative support to ensure the smooth running of daily operations.

Key Responsibilities
Water Treatment Plant (WTP) & Sewage Treatment Plant (STP):

  • Ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the Water Treatment Plant (WTP) and Sewage Treatment Plant (STP).
  • Conduct routine inspections and monitor plant performance.
  • Report operational issues, faults, and maintenance requirements promptly to the Operations Supervisor.
  • Maintain accurate operational logs and treatment records.
  • Monitor water quality parameters and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Assist with preventive maintenance scheduling for WTP/STP equipment.
  • Coordinate with technicians and external contractors during maintenance activities.
  • Ensure chemicals, consumables, and operational materials are adequately stocked.

Operations Administration:

  • Provide administrative support to the Operations Department.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports.
  • Archive all operational documents, invoices, maintenance reports, and service records electronically.
  • Maintain accurate filing systems for operational documentation.
  • Assist in processing purchase requests and vendor documentation.
  • Track maintenance schedules and follow up on outstanding work orders.
  • Maintain inventory records for operational equipment and supplies.

Facilities Operations:

  • Support the Operations Supervisor in overseeing facility maintenance activities.
  • Coordinate routine inspections of building facilities and equipment.
  • Escalate maintenance issues requiring urgent attention.
  • Assist in coordinating third-party service providers where necessary.

Health, Safety & Compliance:

  • Support the implementation of Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) policies.
  • Promote safe work practices within the Operations Department.
  • Report safety hazards, incidents, and near misses.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental and operational regulations.
  • Participate in safety inspections and emergency response activities.

  • Water Quality Metrics (pH, turbidity, dissolved oxygen, chemical concentrations)

Qualifications
Minimum of HND or Bachelor's Degree in any of the following disciplines:

  • Environmental Science
  • Environmental Engineering
  • Chemical Engineering
  • Civil Engineering
  • Mechanical Engineering
  • Industrial Chemistry
  • Facilities Management
  • Engineering Technology
  • Business Administration (with relevant operations experience)
  • or any related discipline.

Experience:

  • 2–5 years' experience in Operations Administration, Facilities Management, Water Treatment Operations, Engineering Support, or a similar role.
  • Experience working within hospitality, commercial buildings, manufacturing, or facility management environments is an added advantage.
  • Experience maintaining operational documentation and reports.

Knowledge:

  • Basic knowledge of Water Treatment Plant (WTP) operations.
  • Basic knowledge of Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) operations.
  • Understanding of facility maintenance practices.
  • Knowledge of occupational health and safety requirements.
  • Understanding of preventive maintenance principles.
  • Knowledge of document management and record keeping.
