Mercatura services ranges from Mercatura School of Technology, Mercatech Hub, Mercatura Online Shop and Mercatura ICT which are designed to handle different ICT need based solutions to better the lives of Nigerians. Our mission is to leverage on technology to solve need based problems faced daily by the society.

Through the Mercatura School of Technology we have trained over 8,000 Nigerian youths for over 3years using our non-tuition fee online self-paced learning method with thousands of them certified and now fully employed afterwards in different organisations.

We are already training NYSC corp members in various tech courses across Nigeria to prepare them to be employable in the digital economic space.

Our Tech Sisters free tech training for African women have trained hundreds of women in Nigeria, Kenya, Rwanda and other parts of Africa for over 2 years which are all verifiable.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Tech Volunteer Assistant

Description

  • Are you passionate about technology and looking for an opportunity to gain practical experience while making a meaningful additional income? We are seeking dedicated, creative, and reliable individuals to serve as Tech Volunteer Assistants as we mark our 7years anniversary celebration.
  • This role is ideal for students, recent graduates, NYSC members, and tech enthusiasts who want to build their portfolios while supporting a dynamic organization.

Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will:

  • Provide day-to-day technical support to customers and tech enthusiast.
  • Assist in managing the organization's tech programs and the onboarding process.
  • Create and schedule appointments for tech events, and announcements.
  • Set up and manage audio-visual equipment for meetings, trainings, and events.
  • Support livestreaming of programs and virtual meetings.
  • Handle virtual session for live presentations for new customers and newbies in tech.
  • Maintain track on new customers and hold online assistance for them regarding our tech services.
  • Schedule and send email notifications.
  • Broadcast the tech products and services of the organization on social media to drive engagement and interest.
  • Keep digital records organized and securely backed up.
  • Train staff on basic technology tools and software when necessary.
  • Perform other technology-related duties assigned by management.

Qualifications
Applicants should possess:

  • Minimum of an OND, HND, Bachelor's Degree, or currently enrolled in a tech school.
  • Background in Computer Science, Information Technology, customer service, sales & marketing or related disciplines is an added advantage.
  • Relevant certifications are an added advantage (Google workspace, Trello, Salesforce, Asana, etc.).

Salary
N50,000 - N200,000 monthly.
