Job Title: Risk Strategist - Recovery

Location: Lagos

Description

• We're growing our Risk Management function and are looking for experienced professionals who can use data, strategy, and analytical thinking to strengthen our credit portfolio and drive better business decisions.
• This is a strategic, not purely operational, role.
• We're looking for professionals who can analyze trends, identify risks, and develop solutions that improve portfolio quality across the credit lifecycle.
• If you have experience in banking, financial services, fintech, or consumer lending and enjoy solving complex credit risk challenges, we'd love to hear from you
• We're looking for an experienced recovery strategist who can minimize credit losses through data-driven recovery strategies, restructuring recommendations, and portfolio insights.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute recovery and restructuring strategies.
• Analyze the root causes of defaults and portfolio losses.
• Recommend settlement, restructuring, and legal recovery approaches.
• Collaborate with legal, recovery agents, and other stakeholders.
• Provide insights that improve future lending decisions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• 5 - 8 years' experience in Recovery, Credit Risk, Loan Restructuring, or Portfolio Management.
• Strong analytical, investigative, and negotiation skills.
• Banking, fintech, or financial services experience is preferred.

Salary
N700,000 Gross Monthly.
