We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Plumber

Location: Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

• The Plumber will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing the water supply, drainage, and piping systems within the automobile manufacturing facility.
• This includes ensuring that all plumbing systems are in proper working condition to support production operations, staff welfare facilities, and overall factory infrastructure.
• The Plumber will also perform preventive maintenance and respond promptly to plumbing-related emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain piping systems, water supply lines, drainage systems, and fixtures.
• Troubleshoot plumbing problems and carry out timely repairs to minimize downtime.
• Install and maintain sanitary systems in the facility (toilets, washrooms, kitchen, etc.).
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
• Ensure that all installations, repairs, and maintenance meet environmental protection requirements.
• Determine sources of plumbing malfunctions and complete repairs as indicated or according to work orders.
• Install and repair pipes, fittings, valves, fixtures, and plumbing system equipment, including sinks, commodes, water heaters, water softeners, and drainage systems.
• Interpret and work from plumbing blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.

 Requirements

• Candidates should possess an OND qualification.
• Trade Test Certificate, Technical College Certificate, OND, or equivalent in Plumbing, Building Services, or related field.
• Professional plumbing certification is an added advantage.
• 3–5 years of proven experience as a plumber, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Experience with industrial piping systems, water supply, and sanitary installations.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, fixtures, and tools.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a maintenance team.
• Physical stamina and manual dexterity.

Salary
N200,000 - N250,000 per month.
