Job Title: Procurement Officer

Location: Lagos

Job Summary

• The Procurement Officer will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing raw materials, production consumables, spare parts, machinery, packaging materials, office supplies, and services.
• The role ensures timely, cost-effective procurement, supplier management, inventory support, compliance with procurement policies, and uninterrupted manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and execute procurement activities based on production requirements.
• Source, evaluate, and manage local and international suppliers.
• Obtain quotations, negotiate pricing and terms, and process purchase orders.
• Monitor supplier performance and ensure timely delivery of goods.
• Support inventory management to prevent stock shortages and overstocking.
• Ensure purchased materials meet quality standards and company specifications.
• Maintain procurement records, prepare reports, and ensure policy compliance.
• Collaborate with Production, Engineering, Finance, QA, and Stores to support operational needs.
• Comply with HSSE policies and ethical procurement practices.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree or HND in Purchasing & Supply, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3–5 years' procurement experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience sourcing engineering spare parts and industrial materials is an advantage.
• Knowledge of ERP procurement systems, inventory management, contract negotiation, and Microsoft Office.
• Professional certification (CIPSMN or CIPS) is an added advantage.

Salary
N250,000 - N300,000 / Month (Gross).
