Cuanu Consult Limited - Our client, an ISO Accredited Medical Diagnostic Centre (Laboratory & Imaging Services) providing laboratory and imaging investigations is seeking a highly competent candidate to establish and manage its finance function in the capacity below:

Job Summary

• This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive finance professional to build sound financial systems and ensure regulatory compliance within a fast-growing healthcare organisation.

Job Description

• Establish and maintain an effective accounting and financial reporting system.
• Prepare monthly Income Statements, Cash Flow Statements, and Financial Reports.
• Prepare management accounts and financial performance reports.
• Conduct monthly inventory verification of laboratory reagents, consumables, imaging supplies, and other inventory items.
• Reconcile cash, bank transfers, POS payments, and other collections daily and monthly.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly revenue reconciliation reports.
• Develop and implement an appropriate costing structure for laboratory and imaging investigations.
• Monitor operational costs and recommend cost-saving initiatives.
• Process payroll and statutory deductions.
• Handle remittance and filing of VAT, PAYE, Pension, WHT, NSITF, NHF, and other applicable statutory obligations.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
• Coordinate external audits and maintain proper financial documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
• 2-3years' accounting experience, preferably within the healthcare sector.
• Experience in financial reporting, taxation, inventory management, and internal controls.
• Good understanding of accounting standards and financial compliance requirements.

Skills Set:

• Strong financial reporting and accounting skills.
• Excellent knowledge of Nigerian tax regulations and statutory compliance.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong reconciliation and analytical skills.
• Inventory management and stock control experience.
• Budget preparation and financial forecasting.
• Cost accounting and pricing analysis.
• Attention to detail and high level of integrity.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet reporting deadlines.

Salary

• N300,000 per month.
