Job Title: Regional Sales Manager  – Commercial & Industrial (C&I) Solutions

Locations: Abuja and Lagos
Reports To: Head, Business Development & Sales

Job Summary

  • The Regional Sales Representative will be responsible for driving business growth by identifying new business opportunities, developing strategic client relationships, and delivering innovative renewable energy solutions to commercial and industrial customers.
  • The role requires a highly motivated sales professional capable of managing the entire sales cycle from lead generation through project execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within the commercial and industrial market.
  • Prospect and engage corporate organizations, manufacturing companies, educational institutions, healthcare facilities, hospitality businesses, real estate developers, financial institutions, and government agencies.
  • Conduct customer needs assessments and recommend suitable renewable energy solutions.
  • Prepare technical and commercial proposals in collaboration with the engineering team.
  • Present renewable energy solutions to prospective clients.
  • Negotiate commercial terms and successfully close sales opportunities.
  • Develop and manage a healthy sales pipeline to achieve monthly and annual revenue targets.
  • Build and maintain long-term customer relationships and provide excellent after-sales support.
  • Maintain accurate customer information using CRM platforms.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies within the renewable energy sector.
  • Represent the Company at exhibitions, industry events, and business development meetings.
  • Submit periodic sales forecasts, activity reports, and market intelligence to Management.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or a related discipline.
  • 3–5 years' experience in business development or B2B sales, preferably within the renewable energy, power, engineering, or infrastructure sectors.
  • Proven ability to sell high-value commercial solutions and consistently achieve sales targets.
  • Good understanding of Solar PV systems, Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), hybrid energy solutions, and Nigeria's electricity market.
  • Strong negotiation, presentation, and relationship management skills.
  • Financial and commercial acumen with the ability to understand project economics and return-on-investment analyses.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and CRM software.
  • Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel within assigned territories.
