We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Laboratory Scientist

Location: Lagos

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, process, and analyze blood, urine, stool, and other patient specimens.
• Conduct laboratory tests in hematology, microbiology, chemical pathology, serology, and related areas.
• Accurately record, interpret, and report test results to physicians and other healthcare professionals.
• Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments.
• Ensure compliance with laboratory quality assurance and quality control procedures.
• Observe and enforce laboratory safety standards and infection prevention protocols.
• Maintain accurate laboratory records and documentation.
• Monitor stock levels of laboratory reagents and consumables and report shortages.
• Participate in continuous professional development and training programs.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure excellent patient care.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Medical Laboratory Science (BMLS) or related field.
• Valid practicing license from the Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria (MLSCN).
• Minimum of 2–3 years relevant work experience in a hospital or diagnostic laboratory.
• Strong knowledge of laboratory procedures and quality management systems.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and maintain confidentiality.
