We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Maintenance Technician - Electrician

Location: Apapa, Lagos

Purpose

• To carry out installations, repairs and maintenance of air-conditioning system and scales in the company and its   subsidiaries to ensure their proper working condition.

The Job

• Carry out repairs and maintenance of air-conditioning system, lifts and industrial electronics       gadgets to ensure all the electronics devices used in weighing are operating in good working condition.
• Carry out daily checks on the air condition system in the switch rooms, to ensure optimal performance of the equipment. 
• Participates in the design and modification of specialized electronic equipment for research purposes; provides technical advice on the selection of components
• Assist in the installation, testing, and commissioning of new electrical equipment and systems.
• Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and emergency power-related issues.
• Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards, company policies, quality requirements, and food safety standards.

Requirements

• 5 O-Level credits, including Mathematics and English/ NABTEB, or Trade Test Grade.
• NABTEB / City & Guilds (C&G) in a related discipline.

Experience: 

• Minimum of two (2) years' relevant experience in mechanical maintenance, welding, fabrication, or industrial equipment repairs.

The Person Must​:​​

• Have good verbal and written communication skills.
• Possess sound mechanical fitting and welding skills.
• Demonstrate strong troubleshooting and fault-diagnosis capabilities.
• Have good fabrication and equipment installation skills.
