We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Mixologist / Bartender

Location: Abuja (FCT) 
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• The Mixologist is responsible for preparing and serving high-quality alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages while creating an exceptional guest experience.
• The role requires creativity, product knowledge, excellent customer service, and strict adherence to hygiene, safety, and responsible alcohol service standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve cocktails, mocktails, wines, beers, spirits, and other beverages according to established recipes and presentation standards.
• Create signature cocktails and seasonal drink menus that enhance the guest experience.
• Recommend drinks based on guest preferences and menu pairings.
• Ensure all beverages are prepared consistently, accurately, and promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area before, during, and after service.
• Monitor and replenish bar inventory, ensuring adequate stock levels at all times.
• Assist with stock counts and report shortages, breakages, or discrepancies.
• Store beverages, garnishes, and ingredients properly to maintain freshness and quality.
• Verify guests meet the legal drinking age and promote responsible alcohol consumption.
• Follow all health, hygiene, and food safety regulations.
• Operate bar equipment safely and report any maintenance issues.
• Handle guest complaints professionally and escalate concerns when necessary.
• Work collaboratively with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure seamless service.
• Support bar promotions, events, and special functions.
• Stay updated on current beverage trends, spirits, wines, cocktails, and mixology techniques.

Qualifications

• Minimum of OND, SSCE, or equivalent qualification.
• Certification in Mixology, Bartending, or Hospitality is an added advantage.
• At least 1–3 years of experience as a Mixologist or Bartender in a reputable restaurant, hotel, lounge, or bar.
• Strong knowledge of classic cocktails, premium spirits, wines, beers, and non-alcoholic beverages.

Salary
N80,000 - N100,000 / month.
