The directors’ vast knowledge and experience in retail business have been deployed in the management and operation of Oliver Twist Supermarket since the inception of the first store in 2019 in Abuja, Nigeria. We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Supermarket Manager

Locations: Lokogoma, Lugbe, Galadimawa - Abuja (FCT)

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the supermarket.
• Lead, supervise, and motivate store staff to achieve business goals.
• Ensure excellent customer service and promptly resolve customer complaints.
• Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to increase revenue.
• Ensure products are well-stocked, properly displayed, and accurately priced.
• Oversee inventory management and minimize stock losses and shrinkage.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety standards, and operational procedures.
• Monitor cash handling, daily sales reconciliation, and store expenses.
• Coordinate with the procurement and inventory teams to maintain optimal stock levels.
• Prepare operational reports and analyze key performance indicators.
• Recruit, train, coach, and evaluate staff performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or HND in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience managing a supermarket, retail store, or similar business.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Good knowledge of inventory control, merchandising, and retail operations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and retail management software.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
