We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Assembly Engineer

Location: Ikeja, Lagos

Job Summary

• The primary role involves the hands-on installation and commissioning of our machinery at client sites and within our workshop. Key duties include: Equipment Assembly & Installation, Testing & Commissioning, Quality Assurance, Client Support, Maintenance & Reporting.

Responsibilties

• Perform mechanical and electrical assembly, installation, and setup of packaging machines and commercial ovens according to engineering specifications.
• Testing & Commissioning: Conduct thorough operational tests, troubleshoot technical issues, and calibrate equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety standards.
• Quality Assurance: Inspect finished installations to ensure they meet our company's quality and reliability benchmarks.
• Client Support: Provide basic operational training and technical guidance to clients upon installation completion.
• Maintenance & Reporting: Perform routine pre-delivery inspections and maintenance on warehouse stock. Accurately complete installation and service reports.

Requirements

• A Technical School Certificate, OND (Ordinary National Diploma), or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or a related field is highly preferred.
• Minimum of 1-3 years of hands-on experience in the installation, maintenance, or repair of industrial machinery (e.g., packaging equipment, food processing machinery, commercial appliances, or related electromechanical systems).
• Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of electrical wiring diagrams.
• Proficiency in using hand and power tools, as well as basic testing instruments.
• Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems efficiently.
• Highly reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions and work schedules diligently.
• Strong commitment to workplace safety protocols.
• A proactive, results-oriented attitude with a keen eye for detail.
• Good physical condition to handle heavy machinery and components.
• Age: 18 - 35 years old.

Salary
N100,000 - N150,000 monthly.
