Job Title: Learning & Development Specialist

Location: Lekki Phase 1, Lagos

Job Summary

• The Learning & Development (L&D) Specialist will lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of the organization's learning and development initiatives.
• The role requires an experienced professional who can establish and drive the L&D function with minimal supervision by identifying learning needs, developing competency-based learning programs, creating engaging training content, and evaluating learning effectiveness to support business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the organization's learning and development strategy.
• Conduct training needs assessments and identify capability gaps.
• Design competency-based learning programs, curricula, and learning pathways.
• Develop and deliver blended learning solutions, including instructor-led and digital learning content.
• Facilitate training sessions and support internal trainers where required.
• Manage learning platforms and leverage learning technologies to enhance learner engagement.
• Monitor, evaluate, and report on learning effectiveness using relevant metrics.
• Partner with business leaders to align learning initiatives with organizational goals.
• Continuously improve learning programs based on feedback and performance data.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Education, Psychology, Learning & Development, or a related field.
• 4–8 years of experience in Learning & Development, Instructional Design, or Talent Development.
• Proven experience designing learning strategies, competency-based programs, and training curricula from the ground up.
• Strong knowledge of adult learning principles, instructional design methodologies, and learning technologies.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and drive learning initiatives with minimal supervision.

Salary
N300,000 / month.
